In her early years, Maggie started out performing musical theatre in London, shows including Cats and Folies Berger. Maggie's repertoire covers standards and originals  Ella Fitzgerald, Julie London, Sarah Vaughan and Nat King Cole, Ivan Lins, Chet Baker, Bernstein to dance numbers by Stevie Wonder, Brazilian -Jazz fusion.

 

Maggie was offered residency to sing jazz with a trio in London at Reubans Hotel. Based in New York, she works with Nanny Assis, John di Martino, Tommy Campbell Jay Rodriguez, Leo Traversa, Kevin Field, Ron Samson, ALex Griffith.

She recently recorded with her friend Russell Malone for new album Grace. Ron Carter Maestro, played the right notes for the album which was a wonderful honor.

 

She is collaborating with Producer Nanny Assis ToDo Amor, and new album Grace. They perform with band festivals Monterey, London, Rome, and frequently New York and New Zealand.

 

A career highlight was working with Russ Garcia: Composer and arranger for Porgie & Bess. “You sing the melody straight and don’t mess with the melody, don’t change a thing." he said. This was a piece of advice Maggie has held onto throughout her career as a vocalist. 

 

Maggie's album 'Todo Amor' was released at the Blue Note and the band will return to Napa Valley with special guest Alex Foster (Saturday Night Live). The wonderful photography on both album covers is by Olivia Round my daughter, who does  her life with Grace.
